Objective of the visit:
- To visit the different museum (Entomology, Timber, Pathology, Silviculture and Non-Forest product).
- To enlist and identify the different plant species in the botanical garden (FRI).
This was one day educational visit report of B.Sc. Forestry (1st Semester and 3rd Semester) to Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The visit was organized by Ms Anju Rawat, and Ms. Sapna Chauhan, Assistant Professor, Department of Forestry to supervise and guide the students in their field based practical and lecture sessions. The field based practical was a training for Forestry students during their educational visit to FRI, Dehradun. During the visit to different museum and gardens, the students identify and enlisted the different tree species etc.
Conclusion: The visit was successful for the students to know about importance of Forest resources and their management. This educational tour has enhanced the practical and theoretical knowledge of
