HNB Garhwal Central University, Srinagar (Garhwal) Uttarakhand

The inception of the Garhwal University was fulfilled on December 1st,1973. Thereafter, the university was rechristened as Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in 1989 in commemoration of the memory of the leading statesman of the country and the son of the soil Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna. Of late, Srinagar has strongly emerged as a centre of higher learning and research with the establishment of the University. The H.N.B. Garhwal th University has now been upgraded as a Central University w.e.f. 15 of January, 09 by Central Universities Act, 2009. It is a residential cum affiliating institution of higher learning with more than 180 affiliated colleges and is considered to be among the top ten large universities in the country.

Our College is also approved and recognized by the Deptt. of Higher Education. The main objectives, of the Department of Higher Education of the Government of India, are laying down of National Policy on Education, and overseeing its implementation, Planned development of Universities & Higher Education, and Technical Education with special attention to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Girls, Minorities and Disabled.

Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP)

IAP is the guiding and ruling body for all the Indian Physiotherapists and has made some norms according to which all the physiotherapists and colleges should have their BPT/MPT degree affiliated by IAP. IAP has given the affiliation to UCTBMS in 2008. Every year, IAP conducts. National Conference in different states of India which
an opportunity to all the Physiotherapists for participation in different scientific sessions, poster presentation, cultural activities etc. It is compulsory for all the colleges to get affiliated by IAP so that the passed out students are able to do internship in reputed hospitals.

Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Uttarakhand

A letter of Approval or NOC from the Ministry of Health, Government of Uttarakhand is required for starting Medical or Para-Medical courses. Our Paramedical courses are duly approved by it. Their experts inspected the college at the time of renewal of the courses.

Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University

The establishment of the Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University at Dehradun, by an Act enacted by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly and assented to by the Governor on 18 February 2014 by the Uttarakhand Govt-Act-No 72/xxx-vi (3) 2014/07/(1)/2014 to fulfils the long standing need of the people of Uttarakhand to have an institution for the advancement and development of medical education in the state. This was because highest level medical education and research was not available within the state. Moreover, the medical, nursing and para-medical institutions were so far affiliated to non medical university in the state which only conducted their examinations and awarded degrees and diplomas and had no expertise to guide the quality of education and research. It aims not only to guide the medical, dental, nursing and para-medical education in the state by affiliating all such institutions with but also itself carry high level and specialized teaching and research.

Indian Nursing Council (INC)

The Indian Nursing Council (New Delhi) is a national regulatory body for nurses and nurses education in India. It is an autonomous body under the Government of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, constituted by the Central Government under section 3 (1) of the Indian Nursing Council Act, 1947 of Indian parliament in order to establish a uniform standard of training for nurses, midwives and health visitors. INC prescribes minimum standards of education and training in various nursing programmes and the syllabus & regulations for nursing programs. It advises the State Nursing Councils, Examining Boards, State Governments and Central Government in various important items regarding Nursing Education in the Country.

Nursing Council of Uttarakhand, Dehradun

Nursing Council of Uttarakhand, Dehradun Uttarakhand (Uttaranchal) is a State Authority under the control of State Government. Nursing Council of Uttarakhand, Dehradun Uttarakhand (Uttaranchal) is also known as Uttarakhand Nursing & Midwives Council.
Uttarakhand Nursing Council came into existence on 7th November 2002 on the same lines as the UP Nursing Council. The new council re-registered the trained nurses from other parts of India who were working in the State at the time of division. The state is now following the rules framed by the U.P. state government under sub section (2) of section 33 of the nurses, midwives, assistant midwives (auxiliary Nursing Midwives) and health visitors Registration Act, 1934 (U.P. ACTXV of 1934) adapted and modified in 2002.
