(Ag) – Agronomy), with an aim to provide job oriented course with best quality education to the students. The College of Agronomy try to establish some programme to create interest of the students towards presence in the class, learning attitude and active participation in the field activities. 

Field Activities are the most important and essential part of agricultural studies, in this regards the college, engaged students to the field activities like land preparation, seed sowing, crop management, weeding, insect – pest and diseases management etc.

WHAT IS AGRONOMY?

Agronomy is the mother of all plant sciences right from basic crop production, breeding, animal husbandry, farm management. Studies on soil, crop cycle, water management, land development techniques, agrometereology, insect pest management; study of allied subjects like sericulture, apiculture, poultry management, milk & milk products management are essential part of the curriculum. The need and demand for the systematic knowledge makes this course a top priority among the promising students. 

The special training oriented towards the learning of the establishment, management and marketing aspects of Bio-gas, Bio-fertilizers, poultry, mushroom production, vegetative propagation and tissue culture techniques have been made the essential components of the course as a USP or specialty of our Institution.

EVENTS: The College of Agriculture Science conducts various activity likes – Sports, Watching motivational movies, Indoor & out door games, Street play, debate, group discussion, creative work etc.
